ssl appears to be for Python 2.x only, and you seem to be installing it on Python 3. |

Furthermore, ssl is built-in for recent Python versions.[1] You shouldn’t need to install it with pip.[1]: Well actually it’s built-in since 2.6, so not recent… Edit: Given that the ssl package on PyPI is maintained by PyPA, maybe we can put a Requires-Python tag on it to avoid people hitting themselves in the foot? |
